Quilt As You Go Pot Holder Class at the La Pine Grange on Sat, August 15th
Sarah, our instructor and owner of Homstead Quilts, has a number of these from her grandmother, and they are super fun and unique.
Pick a theme and make Christmas ones, or just grab fabrics at random and see how they turn out! No two will look the same.
What to Bring:
- Sewing machine
- Fabric scraps
- 2 – Backing pieces
- 2 Strips for binding 2.5″ x 42″
- Cotton batting if you want extra layers in your pot holder
- 1/4″ foot if you have one
- Thread – Cotton is best for high heat, so it does not melt
- Scissors
- Clips for binding, pins if you want them
- Snacks and drinks
We Will Provide:
- Irons and pressing mats
- Rotary mats and blades
- Rulers
- Heat-resistant batting for 2 pot holders
Class Fee $25. RSVP Required:
