Canning has been a tradition for generations and is an invaluable skill to learn. It allows you to have all the delicious spring, summer, and fall foods when the outside temperature is below zero!

Join us and learn the basics of canning. Everything needed for the canning demonstrations will be provided.

Learn how to preserve food safely. See a demo of Pressure Canning and Water Bath canning for vegetables and other types of food.

Here’s a shout-out for the classic canning book: Ball Blue Book Guide to Preserving. This is their 38th Edition Recipe Book, which is for all skill levels. There are more than 500 recipes, including 40 new recipes, along with expert tips and tricks. The book is in stock at the La Pine ACE Hardware for $14.99.
