DESCRIPTION:Quilt As You Go Pot Holder Class at the La Pine Grange on Sat\, August 15th\nSarah\, our instructor and owner of Homstead Quilts\, has a number of these from her grandmother\, and they are super fun and unique. \nPick a theme and make Christmas ones\, or just grab fabrics at random and see how they turn out! No two will look the same. \nWhat to Bring:\n\nSewing machine\nFabric scraps\n2 – Backing pieces\n2 Strips for binding 2.5″ x 42″\nCotton batting if you want extra layers in your pot holder\n1/4″ foot if you have one\nThread – Cotton is best for high heat\, so it does not melt\nScissors\nClips for binding\, pins if you want them\nSnacks and drinks\n\nWe Will Provide:\n\nIrons and pressing mats\nRotary mats and blades\nRulers\nHeat-resistant batting for 2 pot holders\n\nClass Fee $25. RSVP Required:\nRSVP on the Homestead Quilts website \n\nSign-ups are required so we know how many people to expect.\nQuestions?
