Founded in 2009, the La Pine Embroidery Group is a friendly, creative community for anyone who loves—or wants to learn—machine embroidery, quilting, and sewing. We meet monthly at the La Pine Grange Hall and welcome everyone, from complete beginners to experienced stitchers.
Our three-day gatherings are relaxed, supportive, and inspiring. Members bring their own projects, share ideas during Show & Tell, learn new techniques, and enjoy plenty of laughter along the way. We work independently but help one another often, creating a warm, encouraging atmosphere where skills grow, and friendships form.
Beyond our meetings, we stitch with purpose. Throughout the year, we create and donate handmade items to support local schools, veterans, hospitals, shelters, warming centers, and families across La Pine, Crescent, and Bend. From quilts and blankets to community donations, our work helps keep people warm and cared for.
If you’re looking for creativity, camaraderie, and a way to give back—join us. We’d love to stitch with you.
